That is exactly who this is for. Complete beginners are very welcome, and Mick starts wherever they are. No reading music, no exams.
Do they need to live in Colchester?
No. Lessons are face to face around Colchester, or online anywhere in the UK, so it works wherever they are.
Do they need their own guitar?
For online lessons they need a suitable device, working internet and an instrument. For face to face lessons they need access to a playable guitar or ukulele.
How does the voucher arrive?
By email, straight after you pay, with your personal message and a unique code. You can print it, forward it, or put it in a card.
What if they cannot use it within 12 months?
If no reasonable dates are available before it expires, Mick will arrange a fair extension.
Can I change my mind?
You can cancel within 14 days of buying unless voucher has been redeemed.
Can the lessons be spread out?
Yes. They do not need to be back to back, and can be spaced across the 12 months to suit your recipient.

Using the voucher: contact me using the details on the voucher and quote the voucher code. All three lessons are for one person.
Who can use it: it can be given to someone else, and the digital copy can be forwarded or printed.
Expiry: valid for 12 months from the purchase date, shown on the voucher. If no reasonable dates are available before expiry, I will arrange a fair extension.
Booking and changes: lessons depend on availability. Please give 24 hours notice to change a lesson. I will treat illness and emergencies fairly. If I have to cancel, I will rearrange.
Online lessons: a suitable device, working internet and an instrument. Face to face: access to a playable guitar or ukulele.
Under 18s: a parent or guardian arranges the booking and gives consent, and a responsible adult stays for the whole lesson.
Learning outcomes: everyone learns at a different pace and no particular result is guaranteed.
Cash: not redeemable for cash. This does not affect your legal rights, including your cancellation rights.
